Light It Up

With the chaos of this week I was thankful for every little bit of progress I could make on this project. While I didn’t get all the actual lighting into Revit, I was able to plan out the type of lighting and location of fixtures by hand.

Due to the highly involved ceiling I am choosing use a combination of simple straight line fixtures and recessed downlights. I also want to help accent the drop downs with cove lighting. Large open spaces, such as the overall entry and grand stairwell in the library, will have a featured fixture to add emphasis to the space.

Over Spring Break, while I do plan to rest, I will take the time to insert the lighting into Revit and start of specifications. Our first deadline is fast approaching!
