Over the Break

With the first semester coming to a close we have thoroughly advanced our programming for our Capstone project. I believe I have a clearer understanding of where I am heading with my design purpose and what it will take to reach those goals.

Over the Break.... I intend to work on developing my block diagrams to better fit my circulation requirements specifically vertical circulation. I will address my space allocations again to make sure I am using my square footage wisely and make any adjustments I see necessary.

I also plan on searching for more inspirational images for libraries, offices, and cafeterias. I am not certain on the design style I intend to use, so I need to research different precedents that focus more on style than content. With only one semester left to design this building, I want to make sure the decisions I make next semester do not have to be reconsidered over and over just because I am not set on a design style.

Needless to say, I plan on this break to be productive and relaxing in order to put forth my best effort next semester!
