More Volumetric & Millwork Sketches

Another week = another snow day. Again, we were unable to meet as a group with class cancelled but the time allowed for more Revit time.

I began to build drop downs and other elements within the spaces to see a more accurate representations of the sketches I started last week. While the ideas stayed the same, I was able to refine the relationships of the elements in the ceiling. I also realized during this process that I had left the skylights out of my plans. While this didn’t require me to move any of my spaces, I needed to focus in a little more on the ceiling in the office space and how the different height changes related to the opening.

Also this week I began to design my millwork more thoroughly. By showing different views I am preparing myself for the detailed millwork ahead of me.

Next week I plan on incorporating actual lighting and continuously progressing my volumetric design.
