Schematic Development

With the start of the semester, space planning for capstone is in full swing.

With site views in mind, a few rooms will need to change locations. For instance, my restrooms will now be located on the south side of the building, which has the best view. In order to better utilize this view I switched the restrooms with study rooms. Another example will occur in my cafeteria when I change my back of house area to the north side and my primary seating to the south side.

Now that I have had time to loosely space plan with pen and paper I need to work on modeling the building in Revit. With more precise measurements I can more accurately plan for stairwells and egress distances for code.
